Puebla in Mexico will host a conference about learning cities in June 2027. UNESCO announced the choice in October 2026. City leaders and education specialists will discuss learning throughout people's lives. Artificial intelligence and digital tools will be important topics. The meeting will bring people from different cities together to share ideas and experiences.
The organisers want technology to open learning opportunities to more people. They will explore how cities can reduce differences in access to digital learning. Puebla joined UNESCO's learning cities network in 2020. Hosting the conference will give it a chance to share its experience. The event is planned for next year, so its discussions have not yet happened.
