Travellers gained new options between Southeast Asia, Central Asia and Europe when Vietjet introduced services linking Hanoi, Almaty and Prague. Launch ceremonies took place at airports in Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic on 10 October. The new links mark the airline's expansion into the European Union. According to the announced schedule, return services operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The airline uses wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft on these connections.
The cities offer different reasons to travel. Prague is known for historic squares and several styles of European architecture. Almaty provides access to mountain scenery and the varied culture of Central Asia. Hanoi gives incoming visitors a starting point for exploring Vietnam. Beyond holidays, the new services are intended to support trade and cultural exchange. They connect people and organisations across regions that previously had fewer choices for travelling together.
