You do not need to be a programmer to join NASA's Space Apps Challenge. In an October 15 notice, NASA welcomed people of all ages and experience levels. The two-day event is planned for November 14 and 15. Teams around the world will use freely available NASA data to explore problems and build ideas.
Artists, storytellers, designers, scientists and engineers can all contribute. This year's themes include the Moon, deep space and the wider universe. A team may need clear pictures or a strong story, not only computer code. Members can bring different skills and learn from one another. NASA's invitation shows that working with space data can involve many kinds of creative thinking.
