Singapore's Changi Airport has lost its title as the world's best airport. This year, readers of a British travel magazine chose Istanbul Airport in Turkey. Istanbul scored 94.29 points out of 100. Changi came second with 93.92 points. Istanbul Airport has one of the world's largest terminal buildings under a single roof.
It is the main hub of Turkish Airlines, connecting travelers to more than 122 countries. It also offers sleep pods and therapy dogs. Changi has four terminals and the world's largest indoor waterfall. With automatic check-in and biometric checks, passengers can clear immigration in about one minute. But last year, some travelers complained of waiting 45 minutes for their bags. The airport apologized and promised a smooth experience for all travelers.
