A company that runs tours to Son Doong is warning travelers about fake websites. Son Doong, in central Vietnam, is the world's largest cave. The sites copy its design, photos, and text almost completely. Their names look very similar to the real one. The company, Oxalis Adventure, says the fakes even use Google ads to find customers.
The real booking process does not ask for payment at registration. First, a consultant contacts each traveler to check information and fitness. Payment comes only once a traveler is accepted. The expedition lasts six days and costs 3,000 dollars per person. The company advises travelers to check the domain name and payment steps carefully. Do not send money until every detail is confirmed.
