Two Vietnamese cities are among the world's ten best places for digital nomads. Hanoi ranks third, and Ho Chi Minh City takes tenth place. The ranking comes from a platform that reviews VPN services. It ranked 104 of the world's largest cities. Seoul came first, followed by Tokyo.
The study looked at workspaces, leisure and culture, internet speed, and living costs. It also counted comfortable working days, with mild temperatures and little rain. Hanoi stood out with nearly 97 workspaces per square kilometer. The capital also has 180 comfortable working days, far more than Seoul's 105. However, Vietnam's download speed is rather low, at about 16 megabits per second. Vietnam has no special visa for digital nomads. Remote workers can still stay legally on the standard 90-day electronic tourist visa.
