On To Huu Street, water rose above his wheels and killed the engine. A passing car sent up a wave that knocked him and his motorbike over.
He said he would have chosen another route if he had known. Other residents now search social media groups before traveling in heavy rain. However, the reports there often disagree about the very same road. One person may describe deep water while another says traffic is normal. An official flood map exists, but new flooded spots can appear on it late.
