Singer Celine Dion returned to the stage in Paris on Saturday night. It was her first full concert in six years. About 30,000 fans filled the arena, and every ticket was sold. The 58-year-old star cried tears of joy when she saw the crowd. She stopped performing years ago because of a rare illness that makes her muscles stiff.
Fans travelled from many countries to see her. To get strong again, Dion trained hard like an athlete. She did ballet, pilates and voice lessons for many months. She will sing sixteen shows in September and October, and ten more in May. Over her long career, she has sold about 260 million albums.
