The United Nations has started a new plan to help people who survived terrorist attacks. Survivors in every region say they are hurt again online. One survivor said fake videos and false stories can change the truth. The plan started on Friday during the yearly day of remembrance for victims.
Victims and their groups lead the new plan themselves. The UN counter-terrorism office set up their network last year. One survivor from Uganda now helps thousands of young people learn job skills. The UN chief said this year's theme is "Healing through memory". He said victims' stories must never be used to spread hate.
