NASA will meet the public at the SmallSat conference, and the agency has booked four booths in the exhibit hall. Its experts plan to share stories about small satellites from Monday, August 24 to Wednesday, August 26, 2026. On Monday morning, speakers will open the week with a welcome talk. Their session will also include figures on small satellites and comments about the supply chain.
The full agenda covers launch choices, from launches that several satellites share to dedicated rockets for one mission only. Other sessions describe mission highlights, early camera observations and safe ways to avoid collisions in orbit. NASA staff will also explain how companies and universities can partner with the agency. Each afternoon a moderator will guide a panel, so visitors can ask questions directly.
