Eighty-one years ago, Vietnamese people won a great victory in August 1945. The Communist Party and President Ho Chi Minh led this fight. They ended French rule and an old king system. This created a new country for the people. It was the first state of its kind in Southeast Asia. People finally became masters of their own lives.
Vietnamese people still remember this brave history today. It teaches them to trust their leaders and work together. It also teaches them to be strong and independent. This year, Vietnam starts new plans for the future. Leaders want the country to grow strong by 2030. They also have big goals for 2045.
