The stock jumped nearly seven percent during the trading day. Many investors bought energy shares because global oil prices stayed above 91 dollars per barrel.
PLX reached 37,950 dong per share, hitting the daily price limit. More than five million shares changed hands during the session. The company announced plans to sell over 23 million treasury shares soon. Other energy stocks like BSR also gained value. The VN-Index closed up 4.56 points at 1,732.02.
