Vietnamese scientists are working with over 1,000 researchers worldwide on two big physics experiments in Japan. The team from Hanoi's Institute of Physics joined the Belle II and T2K projects. Dr. Nguyen Anh Ky leads the Vietnamese group. The experiments study tiny particles to understand how the universe began. The project runs from 2024 to 2026.
The scientists use special machines to speed up particles and then crash them together. The Vietnamese team helped build important detector parts. One detector sits 1,000 meters underground. Dr. Cao Van Son works there. The experiments help answer big questions about matter and space.
